The application developed by Böning Automationstechnologie GmbH & Co. KG provides comprehensive visualization of essential ship data on iPad® and iPhone® devices, facilitating efficient onboard monitoring and management.
It enables remote operation of various ship functions, including lighting and air conditioning, offering enhanced convenience and operational control from any location with internet access.
The app supports rapid integration into existing onboard networks, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless connectivity with current systems.
The user interface is fully customizable, allowing adaptation to specific operational requirements to optimize safety and usability.
Designed with a strong emphasis on operational safety, the interface maintains consistency with the Böning ship alarm displays already present on vessels, promoting intuitive use.
Authorization levels can be tailored for different onboard personnel or guests, permitting controlled access to non-critical functions such as cabin lighting and climate control, while restricting access to critical systems.
It is important to note that full functionality of the app requires the installation of a Böning ship alarm system. An introductory showcase is included to familiarize users with the application's features; access it by selecting 'showcase' on the login screen.
